A GU Special Dedication: The Honorable Percy E.Sutton

GU mourns the passing of the Honorable Percy E. Sutton, lawyer, entrepneur, politician, philantropist, and friend to Harlem.
"As a long-standing Harlem businessman, Percy Sutton's life and legacy have been an inspirational example for me and countless others who endeavor to make a difference for the Harlem community". Joe Holland, Owner GU "To me Mr. Sutton was an inspiration. He had a God given vision and he ran with it. He brought WLIB in 1979. Without him there would not be an 1190AM your praise and inspiration station. Without him there would be no Liz Black or other black radio personalities. I am proud to represent his station WLIB. I am honored to be a part of his legacy at Inner City Broadcasting".
